Discover the site
Pfyn lies in the canton of Thurgau. The late Stone Age pile-dwelling Pfyn-Breitenloo served as the background for the successful television series «Pfahlbauer von Pfyn» during the summer of 2007. On a hilltop dominating the Thur river is «Ad Fines», a remarkable and well-preserved Roman fort. Amongst the ruins you will find the Transitorisches Museum curated by the artists Alex Meszmer and Reto Müller. Archaeology and art at their best: welcome to Pfyn!
